Question:

What is the hardest group to work with how would you adapt to them?

Answer:

I have analysed the four groups and the conclusion I have reached is that the hardest group to work with are the baby boomers. The baby boomers category include workers who are aged and rigid. They belong to the top level of management and are very expensive, it is problematic to work with such people as they ae not ready to change. They are not adapting to the new technologies available in the market and not at all tech savvy (Stark & Farner, 2015). I have worked with the people who belong to this category and found out they are all workaholic and dedicated to their work but they are not ready to adjust to the situation with the change in time. They have a lot of knowledge regarding the businesses and the experience they have in their respective fields are priceless.

I have experienced that there are lot of things that can be learned from this group. Every human has their own sets of assets and liabilities so while working with these people I will have to adapt to their ways of work. I feel it very tough to change habits which an individual is following for the past so many decades and it will be quite easier me to adapt. The baby boomers have a lot of experience and they are dedicated to their work (Collier, 2016). These people like to work for long hours and they bring a set of values which has made them successful in a particular industry. The knowledge they have is precious and is a vital asset for an organization and I have to learn from the experiences and guidance of such people. There are so many things that cannot be learnt from secondary knowledge and these people has helped me learn about the ethics at work.
