How has gun advocacy changed based on social and historical context? Thinking about your own research topic area, explain ways in which the historical time period directly impacted the issue you chose.

Following the advancements in technology, the markets for the guns have increased. With the right amount of money, anyone can get it and not necessarily have to get a license or being registered into the system as a gun holder. The increase of the guns among the citizens does not always security. Some people will use it to take away the security of other helpless citizens and even their lives. I agree with R.J. Maratea, that guns should be controlled and not like the National Rifle Association proposes. The creation of new facts online is limited the avenues maximum content it can deal with at a certain time (Maratea, 2015).

Despite the many arguments on firearms control that occurs currently, the control of the possession of guns is the American way life (Aborn, 1994). There were serious regulations on the possession of firearms and inspections took place all across the country. Those found with guns by the militia were punished. In the social scale, the ownership of a gun is like a two-sided blade. Some gun holders might use it for their protection and no other purpose. On the other hand, criminals will use them to meet their own selfish needs, such as stealing, murder and threatening people who might attempt to report them to the authorities.

The law and order of things existed millions of years ago (Maratea, 2015). The occupants of the earth had organizational structures that helped in governing their existence. They were orderly in that they practiced division of labor. A group of them would go hunting and gathering fruits as the others stayed back to take care of the young. Presently, to some people, justice feels like a far gone dream since the police who are tasked with the duty to maintain law and order are the perpetrators of most of the crimes. The outliers in the law department are those that do right by the people.
