Happiness is the condition in which any individual is able to perform to the best of their capability (Argyle, 2013).

Yes, it is important for me and anyone else in this world to be happy. It is equally important to find my loved ones to be happy. Human beings, a social animal are emotionally attached with the materialistic world and also with their family. Sadness, stress and unhappiness within a person can send negative vibes to their loved ones which in turn makes them sad. Similarly happiness gives out positive vibes and a sense of optimism such that people are being able to bring out their creativity. There has always been a positive co-relation between the level of happiness and the efficiency of work (Oswald, Proto & Sgroi, 2015). The traditional way of finding happiness is to be successful. This notion comes with the basic problem that people possess a non-satiated mind where they continuously changes their demand and strives to achieve them. Hence, it is time to change the vision and be optimistic such that people live for the present and thereby be able to enjoy the things they are endowed with. There are several other reasons for which I think happiness is important for me and for my loved ones. It has been seen that happy people live long and live healthy. They are less prone to sickness, good at their jobs and more likely to get promoted. Research also finds that happy people have better conjugal and family life.
