Answer:

Quality care model by nurses

The quality care model highlights the nursing values and practices needed in modern health care. Nurse can easily fit into this model or they are suitable for this model because it directs them to employ patient-centered care approach during the delivery of care. Nurse’s focuses on power of relationship and building therapeutic relationship with patients eventually help to achieve positive heath outcomes. Hence, the nurses can use this model to increase the quality of care.

Role of nurse staffing to patient ratios and effect of the safety

Appropriate Nurse-patient staff ratio is important to maintain quality care and improve patient health care outcome. It has been found that in hospitals having low nurse patient ration, nurses are overloaded to work. This creates burn-out issues in them and they are less likely to manage all patients in effective manner. Such situation lead to adverse outcome for patient such as deterioration of symptoms, fall in hospital and medical errors. This will help the nurses to provide the highest level of health care to the people and will also be useful to access certain things. The necessary requirements will include the access of the technological tools, work schedules and the promotion of well being and the manpower in handling the situations . (Laschinger&Fida, 2015).

Nurse sensitive quality indicators

The nurse sensitive quality indicators include the indicators in structural level that include the supply of the nursing members and the skills of the nursing staffs, the education and the certificatio of the nurses. The process indicators measure the process of patient assessment and the nursing interventions. The outcome indicators define the outcomes in patient that are to be determined with the effective nursing sensitive indicators.. (Carthon et al, 2015).

Reporting tools for the quality indicators

The reporting tools used in nursing practices act as quality indicators. The effective quality improvement analysis tools include the routine assessment activities, comparative screening, clinical process, benchmarking tables, run charts. All of these are useful in the quality improvements activities and facilitates evidence based practice. (Van Bogaert et al, 2013).

The role of bedside nurses in quality care

The cornerstone of the patient safety can be accurately accessed by the bedside nurses. They will try to prevent the negative outcomes and can study the quality of care that is being given to the patient. They can evaluate the condition of the patient 24 hours.  In any adverse conditions of the patient can be easily identified by the bed side nurse and this ensures that treatment is given to the patient in timely manner(Ball et al, 2013).

Mission vision and value statement of the quality planning

The mission vision and the value statement of quality planning increases the quality level of the care that is being given to a patient in a particular condition.  The mission of the organization by using the health care is to provide high quality health care with the belief that all the individuals get the right amount of health care service. The vision will be that the quality care reaches the maximum community members. The quality care value is that it is going to increase the overall quality of the care service and the reputation of health care organization.
