The three supportive factors to this decision would be lesser distance, broad future opportunities and lower opportunity cost.
The shorter distance of the workplace from home is important factor as it saves both time taken to travel as well as money spent on it. This is the best scope to save time and money for alternative use, which further enhances the scope for human to develop over time.
The employment might provide less nominal gain in recent time against the benefit of higher gain in terms of promotions in the future time. This not would be beneficial for the employee to earn more money with hiked salary but it would also provide him with ample scope to learn and expand his knowledge set.
Working in nearer workplace with lesser salary yield slower opportunity cost that is sense of foregone opportunity as compared to workplace in faraway place with higher income possibility. The greater distance and lack of promotional scope poses greater risk as compared to the other choice, which keeps room for the worker become dynamic.
