Standardized Assessment of Information Literacy Skills (SAILS) Exam is a nationally normed examination that enhances the students in using the resources of Ashford University. After completion of the exam, it can be said that the resource available in the library database of the university are helpful in gaining knowledge about various topics of the areas of learning. The areas of concern are the search strategy used in finding helpful articles and reading materials from the database of the library along with evaluation of the sources. When research is conducted in a generalized way, then the user cannot find the exact reading material. However, using keywords related to the learning course and advanced search in the library are used in searching the documents in the Ashford University Library (Adby, 2013).

It can be said that the library of Ashford University is an enriched source for the students who are giving the SAILS examination and are a part of the Ashford University. The tutorials present in the specific section of the Library are very helpful in gaining knowledge for the examination. The tutorials contains learning materials such as presentations, useful pdfs, documents, etc. that are being suggested by the professors of the respective subject. The specific tutorials in the University Library are researched by using the advanced search in the portal. However, the examination has improved the level of knowledge in the specific subjects as well as improving the level of conducting research while using the resource in the University Library (Ashford, 2017).
