How would you describe SAS’s employee management using the P-O-L-C framework?

The employee management framework at SAS is very unique. The Company has been able to reach the position due to the fact that it carries out its business activities in a different way than others (Kaplan, 2010). The fitness approach that the Company has undertaken has surpassed all other Companies present in Silicon Valley.

POLC framework with example

Planning: Planning states the vision and mission of the organization. It also talks about the strategy that the organization follows in order to achieve its set goals and objectives (Lukovic, 2015). At SAS, the workers are made aware of taking care of their body that would help them to get more energy to do their work.

Organizing: This stage of the framework is all about the organizational design and the organizational culture along with the social network that the management shares in the social network. The employees are often found to get treatment from physicians and therapist at the workplace only to keep them fit and fine (Kaplan, 2010).

Leading: All kinds of leadership styles including decision making, communication, group or team activity and motivating the employees as well fall under the leading concept. The leaders also support the similar approach and take great initiative towards the process.

Controlling: It talks about the system or the processes that the human resource management of an organization us responsible for. The HR department takes good precautionary care of the overall system and encourages the employees to participate in regular checkups to keep them fit.
